Silicone Roof Coatings on the Gulf Coast
Silicone roof coatings are the strongest answer we have to the two things that destroy Gulf Coast roofs: standing water and relentless UV. We spray or roll a seamless silicone membrane directly over your existing roof, sealing every seam, fastener, curb and penetration into one continuous waterproof surface — no tear-off, no landfill, no week of disruption.
Unlike asphalt or acrylic products, silicone does not re-emulsify when water sits on it, which makes it the right call for the low-slope and ponding-prone roofs common on Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Florida panhandle buildings. The finished membrane stays flexible through summer heat and winter cold, reflects the majority of the solar energy hitting the roof, and can be recoated years later instead of replaced.
Every install covers the essentials
- Seamless membrane over the entire roof surface — no seams left to fail
- Holds up to ponding water without breaking down or re-emulsifying
- Highly reflective finish that lowers rooftop and interior temperatures
- Full detail work on seams, fasteners, curbs, drains and penetrations
- Installed over your existing roof — no tear-off, no business shutdown
- Renewable system: recoat later instead of paying for a full replacement
Four steps from first call to a sealed roof
Roof Inspection
We walk the roof, document ponding areas, failed seams and penetrations, and confirm the deck is a good candidate for coating.
Clean & Prep
The surface is power washed and dried, then loose material is removed so the silicone bonds to a sound, clean substrate.
Detail & Reinforce
Seams, fasteners, drains, curbs and flashings are sealed and reinforced with fabric where the roof takes the most stress.
Coat & Final Walk
Silicone is applied at the specified mil thickness, then we walk the finished roof with you and confirm every detail is sealed.
What separates a sealed roof from a coated one
Prep, detailing and film thickness decide whether a roof stops leaking for a decade or looks good for one season.
Leaks Actually Stop
Seams, flashings and penetrations are repaired and reinforced before the membrane goes on — not coated over and hoped for.
Storm-Season Ready
Details are built for wind-driven rain, the failure mode that soaks Gulf Coast buildings first.
Lower Cooling Load
A bright reflective finish sends solar energy back into the sky instead of into your roof deck.
Years Added, Not Days
A properly specified system defers a full tear-off for a decade or more, and can be recoated instead of replaced.
How we work, on every roof
A coating is only as good as the prep underneath it. These are the habits we hold to on every roof, whether it is a house in Biloxi or a warehouse in Baton Rouge.
Photographed Inspections
You see what we saw on the roof, and what it means, before you decide anything.
Real Surface Prep
Wash, dry, repair, treat rust and prime. Prep is where coating jobs are won or lost.
Full Spec Thickness
We apply the mil thickness the manufacturer's system requires — not a thin coat that looks the same on day one.
Reinforced Details
Fabric and sealant at every seam, drain, curb and penetration before the field coat.
Drain-by-Drain Walkthrough
We review the finished roof with you and confirm every detail drains and seals as intended.
